Learning objectives - Cycle XLI - a.y. 2025/2026

The Doctorate in Oncological Sciences aims to train personnel suitable for managerial or high-profile professional careers in the university in biomedical disciplines, and in public and private research institutions, as well as in public health and in the pharmaceutical or biomedical industry. PhDs will be qualified to participate in calls for recruitment for teaching staff at Italian and foreign universities, as well as access researcher roles in public and private structures oriented to basic research, biomedical and biotechnological research, research oriented towards clinical diagnostics on a molecular basis and the study of new molecular targets for the development of innovative therapeutic treatments, research in the field of oncology and hematology, district surgery, radiotherapy. 
Furthermore, in consideration of the multidisciplinary nature of the PhD itself, the doctorates will be able to collaborate in an expanded network, also developing common multidisciplinary research lines, which configures what will be the scenarios underlying medicine in future years.
