Towards 2028: the Strategic Plan of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore
The Strategic Plan
The Strategic Plan is the programmatic and working tool for organising, planning and directing the University's activities in the coming years. The Strategic Plan of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore for the three-year period 2026-2028 is the objective of a shared process to develop a clear, coherent, articulated and public vision towards policies and actions that affect the dimensions of university life, as well as the people who make it real and concrete.
The five strategic pillars
The issues discussed by the university community and, in particular, by the Working Groups set up to define strategic objectives, are the five fundamental pillars of the development path towards which Università Cattolica is oriented. Identified to face contemporary and international challenges, with the ambition of innovating the gaze and practices, irrevocably enhancing their identity, the five strategic pillars are in dialogue and in relation to each other. Each constitutes a thematic area with its own peculiarities and, at the same time, a piece of the broader strategic design that together and circularly return a coherent and interconnected system.
The five pillars are:
- Establishment of a School for the integration of knowledge;
- Quality training offer, in presence and remotely;
- Enhancement of research and researchers;
- Internationalization, accreditations and rankings;
- Fundraising inspired by identity principles.
